RecruitAGuide connects you to tour guides from all over Southern Africa and allows you to get to know them through a short guided video intro. Our stream-lined filtering methods keeps the transparency of your applicants high while keeping the costs & time-taken low. You will only receive applications from guides who meet the standard that you set.

Your first 3 job posts are free. After that, you have the option to select a package which best suits your situation, and allow you to post more jobs.

We try to encompass every type of tour guide that there is, within the borders of Southern Africa, under 3 main categories – Culture, Nature & Adventure Guides. No. If an applicant accepts your invitation to apply, they go to a shortlisted section where you can consider your finalists for the job.

No. You will not be charged to find work.

Nowadays, studies show that personality & attitude plays a larger role in an employers decision to hire than a qualification does. No specific type of personality is better or worse, but its important to highlight the type of person you are so an employer can best gage whether you will be a good fit into their company culture & team ethos.

We give you tips and guides on everything you need to know, including suggested talking points. On the app itself. Once you’ve downloaded the app, begin filling out your profile. You can find our tips under “How to make a Video CV” in the top, right section, above the green “Add video” button.

Your profile is visible to all employers, who’s job listings you are eligble for based on your profile settings.

The employers select the required qualifications, which means that every job is different. You can focus on selecting the qualifications that you have and uploading the appropriate documentation to prove it.
